How do I sign up for service?
You can sign up for service by completing a Client Application, submitting an Online Service Request Form, or through personal communication by phone or email.

What is an Initial Cleaning?
An Initial Cleaning is the first cleaning every client receives. An Initial Cleaning costs more than regular weekly service because yard conditions are usually much different on the first service day than on weekly recurring visits. An One Time Cleaning is for clients who do not request continuing service.

The price of the Initial Cleaning is $36.15.

When is payment due?
Payment for services is due in advance. When starting service, you will pay for the Initial Cleaning plus the first month of service. The first month may be prorated depending on when you choose to start service. Payments are due on the 10th of the current billing month. Payments received after the 17th will incur a 10% late fee.

Is there a minimum service agreement?
Yes. The minimum service agreement is 3 months. You may choose to sign up for a 6 month agreement and save 8% off the regular price or sign up for a 12 month agreement and save 10%. You may also choose to enroll in our VIP Member Discount Program. The VIP Member Discount Program requires a 1-year commitment and a $15 enrollment fee. Are there discounts?
Yes. You can save 8% per month when you sign up for a 6-month service agreement or 10% per month when you sign up for a 12-month service agreement. You may also elect to enroll in the VIP Discount Program when you initially sign up for service. If you do not wish to become of member of the VIP Discount Program, you will become ineligible to join for one year.

How much is the late visit discount?
We guarantee that we will clean your yard before 2 p.m. on your scheduled service day or we will credit your account $10.00 for the late visit.

What is the VIP Discount Program?
You can choose to enroll in the VIP Discount Program at the beginning of service. Existing clients who are not enrolled in the VIP Discount Program will be invited to enroll after one year of service as long as they have demonstrated a good payment history. There is a $15 enrollment fee for the first year of membership. The renewal fee is $13.50 for each additional year of membership. Members of the VIP Discount program receive lower subscription rates. What kind of payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, check, credit or debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), PayPal, and Automatic Payments.

What is Automatic Payments?
You can authorize us to automatically bill your credit or debit card for your subscription rate. Doing so, you will receive a $7.50 discount per billing cycle and never have to pay a late fee. Get the Authorization Form.

What is Email Invoices?
If you choose not to enroll in Automatic Payments, you can still save each billing cycle by enrolling in Email Invoices. Signing up for Email Invoices is easy. Send an email from the email address you would like to associate with your account to petcorps@kypooperscooper.com stating that you would like to enroll in email invoices. You will receive $5.30 off each billing cycle for doing so. Beginning on your next billing cycle, you will no longer receive a paper copy of your invoice by U.S. Mail; instead, your invoice will arrive in your e-mail inbox.

What is the service schedule?
We do not clean yards on Sundays. Our current schedule allows for Saturday yard cleanings.

What are your office hours?
Our office is closed Sunday. Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you call outside this time frame, please leave a message or email us at petcorps@kypooperscooper.com.

Do you work in the rain?
Yes. For heavy rain, we may delay service until conditions improve. If it is raining lightly, service will start at its regular time; however, if thunderstorms with lightning begin to move into the area we may stop cleaning to wait out the storm. If the storm does not lighten up, we will resume cleaning on a makeup day. If thunderstorms are present on the morning of your service day, we will delay service until the storms clear.

Do you work in snowy conditions?
We work in snowy conditions; however, if it snows the night before your scheduled service day, we may delay service until the snow melts or until three days after the snowfall. The reason for this is simple: The snow will bury any dog waste if it snows the night before your scheduled service. Since dogs continue to do their business in all weather, we will wait three days and come to clean the yard. If snow is still present, we will clean all of the waste that is on the surface of the snow. We will clean up the buried waste when the snow melts.

Do I have to cut my grass?
Yes. Long grass makes the job of cleaning up dog waste more difficult. In addition, long grass attracts snakes and other pests, such as ticks, which may be harmful to your dogs and to our workers. Please keep your lawn trimmed prior to your service day. Our recommendation is that you cut the grass after we come to clean it. Lawnmowers do not help the cleanup situation; instead, they mash dog waste into the ground, making it more difficult to clean up. For small dog waste, lawnmowers may also chop the dog waste into small pieces that are difficult to clean up. If yards have excessive growth on your scheduled service day, we may elect not to clean the yard or if possible, clean only easily accessible areas of your yard.

Must I keep my dogs inside when you come to clean my yard?
No, you may keep your dogs in the yard on your scheduled service day, provided they are not aggressive. If your dog is aggressive, we ask that you keep your dog inside on your scheduled service day. If we are unable to access your yard because your dog is showing signs of aggression, we are unable to refund any money paid for service that day.

What if I have a lock on my gate?
If you have a lock on your gate, please provide a key or the combination so that we may access your property in order to provide your requested services on your service day. If locked out of your yard, we are unable to refund any money paid for service that day.

What if I am going on vacation and taking my dogs with me?
If you are taking your dogs with you on vacation and must place your account on hold, please contact us so we can credit your account for the vacation time.
